With this update, the total number of affected wild boars since the start of the outbreak has risen to 368. Since the first case was detected at the end of November, a total of 9,357 animals have been tested, of which 8,989 have tested negative.
According to the weekly report, 347 wild boars have been captured over the last seven days in areas classified as infected or at risk. The total volume of captures in these zones has now reached 9,128.
The task force deployed to manage this health situation has included 1,345 personnel over the past week, responsible for control and monitoring efforts in the area.
