The trip of the Sant Andreu squad to Japan is providing some very peculiar and amusing scenes. With the calm and joy of a job well done, the quadribarrats players are experiencing firsthand a trip typical of a season-ending tour. Samurai and ninja costumes, sumo competitions, and ball-juggling with influencer Yu are some of the images captured by the footballers in these initial days in the country of the club's owner.
During their visit to Odawara, a significant portion of the team has swapped their football kits for traditional samurai and ninja attire. Some players, including Marcos Mendes, Lucas Viña, Jordi Méndez, and Pablo Santiago, have even tried their hand at sumo, competing with professional athletes, although the images suggest they didn't fare too well.
On the same visit to Odawara, the squad met Yu, an influencer known for her ball-juggling skills and who serves as an ambassador for the club. This encounter follows Yu's previous visit to Catalonia, where she participated in a juggling challenge with Sergi Serrano. This time, on Japanese soil, it was Javi Gómez and Carlos Blanco who shared a football session with Yu.
The Sant Andreu team has also taken the opportunity to explore various landmarks in Japanese cities and sample local cuisine. Méndez also practiced his aim with a shuriken, the ninja star, though he didn't quite hit the target.
