The Generalitat and the Government of Spain have ratified several agreements in the Bilateral Commission, including railway investments, coastal management, and the expansion of the Mossos d'Esquadra force.

The meeting served to unlock key points such as the promotion of the orbital railway line and the creation of a state investment company in Catalonia. Furthermore, it was agreed that the Generalitat and the Barcelona City Council will hold the majority in the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona.
Regarding security, funding has been established to reach 25,000 Mossos d'Esquadra officers by 2030. The agreement provides for an annual transfer from the State calculated based on the cost of each additional officer, which will be updated annually according to the CPI.
In terms of language, a working group has been agreed upon to improve service in Catalan within the justice administration and to increase the availability of Catalan in electronic procedures and digital administration.

"We are facing a new stage of relations between the government of Catalonia and the government of Spain that is beneficial for the Catalan people."
