The Plaça de la Vila de Gràcia was packed from early morning for the human tower display, with a constant influx of attendees making it difficult to find a good spot to watch the performances by the Castellers de la Vila de Gràcia and the Xiquets de Reus.
The sun and high temperatures were prominent, forcing attendees to seek ways to combat the heat with fans, caps, and hats. Despite the conditions, the festive atmosphere remained lively throughout the morning, with continuous applause for each construction.
The tradition of human towers captivated numerous tourists, many of whom were witnessing this spectacle for the first time. The blue shirts of the Castellers de la Vila de Gràcia and the hazelnut-colored shirts of the Xiquets de Reus added color to the scene, creating a characteristic image of the local festivals.
Each tower commanded all attention, and the tense silence before the 'enxaneta' (the child at the top) reached the summit gave way to a general ovation as the structures successfully rose.
