The Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) has issued an alert following the detection of fake aesthetic medical devices in the European market, which include a fraudulent CE marking originating from Barcelona.

These products, intended for aesthetic treatments, feature labeling that falsely indicates their manufacture in Spain and a European conformity (CE) mark that is not authentic. The agency's investigation, affiliated with the Ministry of Health, has confirmed the falsity of all identified references.
Among the affected products are the GEBRO-Mesoceuticals brands, with references such as Hair Cocktail, DMAE, and X-DNA Gel, and VANE-Mesoceuticals, which includes Collagen Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid, Skin Peptide, and Spot Cocktail. All of them have been marketed with a falsified CE mark.

"According to the investigations carried out, it has been verified that all the mentioned products are fake."
