The city of Barcelona and its metropolitan area are experiencing significant traffic disruptions this Friday, March 6, as heavy rainfall has led to multiple accidents and long delays.

The most affected route this morning has been the B-10 (Ronda Litoral). Southbound traffic towards Nus del Llobregat reached 8.5 kilometers of congestion. Meanwhile, an accident between Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Sant Adrià de Besòs caused lane closures heading north.
Other critical spots include the A-2 highway, where a broken-down vehicle near Sant Joan Despí hindered access from the Baix Llobregat region. Additionally, the C-31 and B-30 roads reported several kilometers of slow-moving traffic.

"Drivers must exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, and maintain safety distances due to water accumulation on the roads."
