High-speed rail service between Barcelona Sants, Girona, and Figueres-Vilafant has returned to normal this morning following a technical incident recorded last night in the Sagrera area.

The service was interrupted yesterday afternoon due to a failure on a train traveling between Figueres and Madrid. The incident forced the suspension of traffic between the Mollet junction and Sagrera, leading to the evacuation of around one hundred passengers with the assistance of the Fire Department and the implementation of alternative road transport.
According to Adif, technical teams worked throughout the night to remove the affected train and repair damage to the overhead lines. Once maintenance tasks were completed, service resumed across all four sections of the high-speed line.
