The incident occurred around three in the morning when a still unidentified man doused gasoline in El Clot square, reaching an establishment on Carrer de la Llacuna. The fire affected the bar's terrace awning and a nearby wooded area.
Municipal sources confirmed that the flames were controlled and there were no injuries. The Mossos d'Esquadra have already initiated the corresponding proceedings to clarify the events and identify the perpetrator.

The president of the PP in Barcelona, Daniel Sirera, denounced the incident on social media, calling it an intentional act and linking it to the lack of security in the neighborhood. Sirera recalled residents' demands for increased police presence and the installation of surveillance cameras.
Municipal sources have separated this fire from another that occurred last Saturday in Parc del Clot, noting that the perpetrator of that fire, who had mental health issues, had already been arrested. The Guàrdia Urbana assured that daily preventive patrols are carried out to prevent acts of incivility.
