The Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) congress concluded its Barcelona edition with a record 92,170 attendees, an 8% increase, and confirmed plans to open a permanent foundation in the city.

The Integrated Systems Europe (ISE), the world's largest professional congress dedicated to the audiovisual industry, closed its doors confirming its biggest edition to date. Figures show widespread growth: 92,170 people attended the event, 8% more than in 2025. This increase is mirrored by the occupied surface area (101,000 square meters, 10% more) and the number of exhibiting companies (1,700, 6% more).

"This is an ISE that has gone further: beyond expectations, further in size, and beyond what we thought was possible."

Mike Blackman · ISE Managing Director
The relationship between the congress and the city of Barcelona is cemented by the announcement of a permanent public-private foundation. This entity aims to strengthen ties and promote Barcelona as a leading European capital in the industry, through innovation, training, and social work programs. The annual event already generates an economic impact exceeding 500 million euros in the city.
Technologically, the 2026 edition was marked by the massive incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the rise of robotics, used both to streamline processes and for content production itself. Furthermore, the investor forum highlighted 'audio' as a growing area within the sector, detecting a shift in corporate investment towards purely sound solutions.
Miquel Rutllant, President of the Catalonia Audiovisual Cluster, confirmed the fair's importance for the local ecosystem, noting that Catalan companies received “many high-quality visits” and opened “many sales opportunities.” For the first time, ISE dedicated an entire pavilion to live events, including video games and festivals.
