The city of Barcelona will reveal the initial details for the upcoming La Mercè 2026 festival on Wednesday, July 22nd. The event will take place at the Palauet Albéniz at 10:00 AM.
Mayor Jaume Collboni will announce who will deliver the opening speech and unveil the official graphic image for this year's main festival. He will be accompanied by the individuals central to these announcements.
Also present at this presentation will be Meng Yuhong, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Barcelona, representing Shanghai, which will be the guest city for La Mercè 2026.
