The draw, held at the Loteries de Catalunya headquarters, coincided with the September 11th national holiday. Tickets with the same five digits (54949) from other series will receive 50,000 euros each. The immediately preceding (54948) and succeeding (54950) numbers have been awarded 2,000 euros.
The endings also received prizes: 500 euros for those ending in 4949, 100 euros for those ending in 949, 30 euros for those ending in 49, and five euros for those ending in 9. The second prize, worth 20,000 euros, went to number 47863, and the third, worth 10,000 euros, to 52168. The second refund prize is for numbers ending in 2.
Starting this Saturday, sales will begin for the Grossa de Cap d’Any (New Year's Grossa), with a prize of 200,000 euros per ten-euro ticket, and the draw will take place on December 31st. The Grossa Especial Castanyada (Chestnut Grossa) will also go on sale, with a special prize of 500,000 euros per five-euro ticket, with its draw on October 31st.
Winners have 90 days to claim their prize before it expires. Claims can be made at any authorized lottery retailer or via the Loteries de Catalunya website. For this draw, 70,000 numbers (from 00000 to 69,999) were available for sale, each with 35 series.
One hundred percent of the profits generated from ticket sales are allocated to the Generalitat de Catalunya's Fund for Prosperity and Social Cohesion. Loteries de Catalunya, with over 35 years of operation, has transferred 300 million euros to the Department of Social Rights for social programs benefiting the most vulnerable groups.
