The campaign for the Veterinary Medicine ILP is entering its final weeks, with a concerted effort from the veterinary profession to ensure all collected signatures translate into effective support. The aim is to have the maximum number of signatures officially counted.
Currently, nearly 250,000 signatures have been received, with 626,511 committed. This difference highlights the urgency to locate and return all forms that already contain signatures for official counting.
A key priority in this phase is the recovery of all completed forms. Individuals and centers holding these forms are urged to return them as soon as possible. Concurrently, the campaign remains active to gather new support and request additional forms.
The reference date set to concentrate this final push for mobilization and form recovery is October 15th. Veterinary professionals play a crucial role in these weeks, by returning forms, locating distributed ones, requesting new forms, informing clients, and promoting collection from clinics.
The ILP seeks to bring the debate on current veterinary medicine regulations and its impact on professional practice and animal care to the Congress. The COVB encourages its members to actively participate in this final stage.
