The Lleida Commerce Innovation Space will be the venue for Up Day, an initiative aimed at making innovation, digitalization, and new technologies accessible and practical for commerce. The event, organized by the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM) in collaboration with the city councils of Lleida, Mataró, and Tarragona, seeks to help retailers and industry professionals face current challenges and improve their competitiveness.
Attendees can participate in talks, technological demonstrations, networking sessions, and experiential activities. The Councilor for City Promotion and Consumption, Pilar Bosch, highlighted the presence of a humanoid robot, presented at the Mobile World Congress and created by the Lleida-based company Ingroup, as well as the participation of ten other companies.
A central theme of the event will be artificial intelligence, exploring how it can help businesses improve sales, optimize processes, and make informed decisions. Companies such as Invelon (virtual and augmented reality, 3D printing, and robotics), Innitia (digital transformation, e-commerce), and Automauticos (AI applied to commercial processes) will present their applications.
Additionally, round tables such as "Real Solutions for Real Businesses" will feature Nubulus, Midgard IT, and CoCo Trainers, sharing experiences in digitalization and AI implementation. The "When Technology Works: Real Cases in Local Commerce" round table will include Fusteria Ebenisteria Jesús Mora, Tu i Tu, and Shotest, showcasing how technology has positively impacted their businesses.
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the advanced humanoid robot Unitree G1, equipped with artificial intelligence and autonomous movement, bringing this technology closer to the general public. Pilar Bosch emphasized that innovation is accessible to any business, regardless of its size, and that this edition highlights local talent.
The Commerce Innovation Space, which has served 630 people from July last year to June this year, is available to Lleida's businesses as a dynamic and reference point, both physically and online.
