CE L'Hospitalet faces the return leg against Badalona with a 0-2 deficit, seeking a comeback bolstered by team confidence and historical precedents.

CE L'Hospitalet faces a considerable challenge to overturn the 0-2 deficit from the first leg against Badalona. Although the initial result is not cause for optimism, the club remains hopeful of a comeback, pointing to refereeing decisions as a factor that did not favor the team.
Coach Sergio Juste has expressed confidence in the squad: "We have enough of a squad to do it." This sentiment is shared by captain Adrià Aliaga, who states, "We have a chance. It won't be easy, but if everyone gives 100%, I'm convinced we'll fight until the end."
The club's history offers encouraging precedents. CE L'Hospitalet has successfully overturned promotion playoffs on several occasions. A notable example was against Cádiz CF, where they went from a 0-1 scoreline to 2-1 in a few minutes. Also in 2013, after losing 1-0 to Caudal Deportivo, the team secured a 2-0 victory in the return leg.
The most epic playoff remembered by fans is from 2010 against Azuqueca. After losing the first leg 1-0, the Manchego side took a 0-1 lead in the second leg. With the away goals rule in effect, Hospi needed three goals in the second half. Eloi Fontanella equalized, Jordi Tarrés put the home team ahead, and a minute later, Tarrés scored the decisive 3-1 goal, allowing the Ribereño team to advance and eventually be promoted to Segunda División B.
While the difficulty of overturning a two-goal deficit away from home is high, the team has shown good performance as visitors this season. Of their seven away wins, five (0-3 in Manresa, 0-3 in Nou Barris, 1-4 in Vilassar, 0-3 in Nou Sardenya, and 0-4 in Vic) would have been sufficient for qualification. The challenge in Badalona is significant, but there are still reasons for hope.
