The holiday getaway for the Second Easter has caused significant traffic jams this Friday on the AP-7 and the ring roads of Barcelona, with 600,000 trips expected.

The most problematic point has been on the AP-7, between Llinars del Vallès and Montmeló, where an accident involving four vehicles has generated up to 16 kilometers of queues heading north. This incident forced the closure of a lane, complicating traffic on a day marked by the start of the holiday weekend.
The metropolitan road network is also experiencing problems in other sections. On the B-10 and B-20, Barcelona's ring roads show significant congestion in both directions, especially at the access points to the Trinitat and Llobregat junctions, with queues exceeding 10 kilometers in some areas.
The Servei Català de Trànsit has activated special measures on 150 kilometers of roads to facilitate mobility. Authorities have reminded drivers of the importance of maintaining caution, avoiding speeding and distractions, to ensure a safe getaway without fatal accidents.
