The acclaimed singer Maria Arnal, from Badalona, officially presented her debut solo album Ama this March at the Paral·lel 62 venue in Barcelona to a sold-out crowd.

Following her successful appearances at Sónar and La Mercè, Arnal delivered a performance that bridges the gap between traditional folk and digital experimentation. The album Ama serves as a tribute to a deceased relative and explores themes of motherhood and love.
The show featured a sophisticated blend of AI-synthesized voices, organ sounds, and pop melodies. Accompanied by dancers, the artist performed new tracks such as Espejo and Madrigal, as well as Meteorit Ferit from her previous collaboration with Marcel Bagés.

"In such a crazy world, it seems that faith can be a place of refuge; it is not my place."

The performance also included the song featured in the film La virgen roja. Arnal proved that electronic tools and processed vocals can convey deep human warmth, positioning her as a key voice of the contemporary music scene.
