Catalonia is facing a critical weather situation this February 12th due to Storm Nils, which has brought wind gusts exceeding 100 km/h across the territory.

The severe weather has led to the suspension of school activities and several flight cancellations. The 112 emergency line has registered more than 1,000 incidents involving fallen trees and damaged urban structures, particularly in Barcelona.
Meteorologists describe this event as one of the most significant in recent years due to its intensity and reach. High-risk warnings remain active for the Barcelonès region, the Pyrenees, and central Catalonia.
Conditions are expected to improve by evening, although temperatures will drop. Tomorrow's forecast predicts widespread rain and snow at altitudes above 1,000 meters.
