A 77-year-old man has died after being hit by a car on the Ronda Litoral, in the Sants-Montjuïc district, in the early hours of July 25th.

The incident occurred around 5:00 AM at kilometer marker 12 of the road, heading towards Llobregat, in the Morrot area. The involved car struck the deceased victim, who died at the scene. The Guàrdia Urbana reported that it was not until this week that the family could be located and informed.
Several units from the Central Unit for Traffic Reports (UCAT) of the Guàrdia Urbana were dispatched to the accident site to handle the proceedings and clarify the causes of the incident.
With this fatality, ten people have now lost their lives in traffic accidents in Barcelona this year.
The Barcelona City Council has expressed its condolences and support to the victim's family and friends, and reaffirmed its commitment to continue working to reduce road accidents in the city.
