An 86-year-old man died this morning after being hit by a cleaning auxiliary vehicle in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona.

The incident occurred around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Tarragona Street and Diputació Street. A cleaning auxiliary vehicle reportedly struck the pedestrian, who was seriously injured. The victim was transported to a hospital by the Emergency Medical System (SEM), where he sadly passed away shortly after.
Units from the Traffic Accident Investigation Unit (UCAT) of the Guàrdia Urbana were dispatched to the scene to conduct the relevant investigation and clarify the causes of the accident.
