The new interactive space 'Fantàstix', by 3Cat and Transversal, opens its doors in Barcelona's Sagrada Família neighborhood to reignite children's imagination.

3Cat and Transversal have unveiled ‘Fantàstix. La fàbrica de la imaginació del Super3’ (Fantàstix: The Super3 Imagination Factory), an interactive project set to officially open on May 22nd, though it will welcome its first families this weekend. The initiative aims to combat the 'creative burnout' virus through an immersive game.
Located in a 2,000-square-meter space in the Sagrada Família neighborhood of Barcelona, ‘Fantàstix’ merges 4D technology, theater, and traditional tales with the children's universe of Super3. This transition from television to a physical space seeks to champion the power of stories and imagination through an hour-long immersive journey designed for children aged 2 to 12.
Visitors become protagonists in a collective adventure guided by iconic Super3 characters, such as en Titó, en Mic, the Beta, and those from series like Fuet, Lady Bug, or Maya the Bee. These characters intertwine with Catalan and universal classics like en Patufet, Around the World in 80 Days, or Alice in Wonderland, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and a final 4D experience.
The central challenge of ‘Fantàstix’ is to reignite imagination, which has been lost due to a virus spread by the ‘Avorribots’, digital antagonists causing creative shutdown. To combat them, children and their families must use their imagination, exploring settings like a forest, a castle, or the imagination cauldron, featuring tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, Saint George and the Dragon, en Pinocchio, The Little Prince, The Tortoise and the Hare, or The Emperor's New Clothes.
Coinciding with the Super3's 35th anniversary, ‘Fantàstix’ also plans to open a theater in September with an annual program of family shows and host events from the 3Cat universe. The venue includes a themed café and a shop selling 3Cat merchandise. Tickets are priced at 16 euros for adults, 11 euros for children, and 9 euros for Super3 members.
