The Agrupació Sardanista, Polifònica i Cultural de Puig-reig and the Town Council of Puig-reig present the program for the 46th International Coral Singing Festival Catalunya Centre, which will take place from October 10-12. This edition marks a significant change by moving to autumn, a decision made to better adapt to the participation calendar of quality international choirs. Furthermore, the traditional joint closing concert is being replaced by a new structure of three independent concerts, each featuring different proposals and groups.
The return of the UST Singers from the Philippines is one of the festival's main attractions. The University of Santo Tomas Singers Alumni International (USTSAI) will perform on Monday, October 12, at 7:00 PM in the Municipal Pavilion. The presence of this Filipino ensemble holds special significance for the Polifònica and the municipality, stemming from the friendship they have maintained since previous visits. The USTSAI, directed by Professor Fidel Gener Calalang, Jr., is a special formation created to commemorate over three decades of international trajectory, and will offer a varied repertoire including early music, Filipino folklore, and contemporary works.

The program will kick off on Saturday, October 10, at 9:00 PM in La Sala with a performance by the Polifònica de Puig-reig, followed by Vocal Vircan. This a cappella vocal group, composed of Georgian and Catalan singers, blends the millennia-old tradition of Georgian polyphony with traditional instruments. On Sunday, October 11, at 7:00 PM in La Sala, the choirs from the Municipal Music School of Puig-reig and the female a cappella group Sound Six will perform, known for their arrangements of pop, rock, jazz, and soul songs.
Advance tickets are priced at €10, while at the box office they will be €15. A pass for all three concerts is available for €20, and children under 14 have free entry. Tickets can be purchased at IGLESIAS FOTÒGRAFS (C/ Llobregat, 4 – Puig-reig) and LLIBRERIA MONTSERRAT (C/ Major, 24 – Puig-reig).
