The railway company SNCF Voyageurs has implemented a third train frequency between Barcelona and Paris, aiming to boost transport options during the upcoming summer campaign.

This new service, which began operating on Friday, will initially run on weekends and holidays until July 3. Subsequently, from July 4 to August 30, the frequency will become daily, coinciding with the peak tourist season.
The high-speed line connects key stations such as Barcelona Sants, Girona, and Figueres Vilafant with several cities in southern France, including Perpignan, Montpellier, and Nîmes, before reaching the French capital at Paris Gare de Lyon station.

"The objective is to offer more options to travelers during periods of high mobility and improve flexibility in a key corridor."
