Hundreds of Nissan workers gathered this Saturday in Barcelona to protest against the Employment Regulation File (ERE) that could lead to the dismissal of 211 employees.

The mobilization, which marched along Via Laietana from Urquinaona to Plaça Sant Jaume, highlighted the unions' rejection of the Japanese multinational's decision, which they accuse of "dismantling" its operations in Catalonia.
The march was led by a banner with the slogan "Nissan deceives us, 211 families on the street. No to the ERE", while attendees chanted slogans such as "Not one step back" or "Nobody here is superfluous", expressing their firm opposition to the proposed measures.
Workers from other companies affected by similar regulation files, such as Serra Soldadura, Quality Expresso, and EGO, also joined the protest, showing a united front against labor adjustment policies.
