The Nou Barris Major Festival will once again fill the streets of the Barcelona district with a wide range of activities from May 14 to 17, 2026, offering proposals for all audiences.

This celebration, unique for encompassing an entire district, stands apart from individual neighborhood festivals and promises days full of music, dance, gastronomy, theater, and competitions. The program includes everything from dances for seniors to drone shows, as well as concerts and children's activities.
On Thursday, May 14, the festival will kick off with a dance for seniors in Plaça de Sóller and a local theater festival at CC Torre Llobeta. The evening will culminate with feminist-perspective monologues in Plaça de Joaquim Serra and a dance performance with architectural videomapping at the District Headquarters Courtyard.
Friday, May 15, will be dedicated to families with a children's party at Parc Central. In the afternoon, there will be tribal dance and other dances in Plaça de Joaquim Serra, followed by the Desperta Festa with the Giants of Nou Barris. The official proclamation, delivered by the founder of VOZES, will lead into concerts by the Barcelona Municipal Band and Turista Sueca, as well as a party with Europa FM.
Saturday, May 16, will continue with children's activities, habaneras in Plaça de Joaquim Serra, and the Ameba Parkfest in Parc de Josep Maria Serra i Martí, featuring local artists and workshops. Hip-hop enthusiasts can enjoy the Underground Den at Espai Jove les Basses, while Parc Central will host a blues picnic and a drone show.
The final day, Sunday, May 17, will begin with the 39th Popular Race of Nou Barris at the Can Dragó Athletics Track. Plaça Major will be the stage for performances by the Falcons de Barcelona and the Colla Castellers de Barcelona. The festival will conclude with a parade of giants, a fire and beasts dance, and concerts by ELS 40 Pop Nou Barris, featuring artists such as Siderland and Roger Padrós.
