During the latest Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, public transport recorded 190,000 validations, confirming that one-third of all attendees opted for sustainable mobility options to reach the venue.

According to the Metropolitan Transport Authority (ATM), 33,000 T-mobilitat cards were distributed to encourage the use of the city's network. This resulted in an average of six trips per person to the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue.
Total usage dropped by 25,000 validations compared to the previous year. This decrease is attributed to lower attendance caused by international geopolitical conflicts, specifically between Israel and Iran, which impacted flight schedules and travel plans.
The Barcelona Metro accounted for 70% of the trips, while Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGC) handled 20%. The busiest stations were Espanya, Fira, and Europa-Fira, with Plaça Catalunya also seeing significant traffic from congress participants.
