The Department of Language Policy, led by Minister Francesc Xavier Vila, collaborated with over 200 companies in 2025 to ensure linguistic rights for consumers across Catalonia.

The initiative has led to about fifty companies incorporating Catalan into websites, mobile apps, and product manuals. In the automotive sector, 52% of brands now offer manuals in Catalan, including Audi, Hyundai, and Nissan, a significant rise from zero in 2016.
Fashion brands such as Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Scalpers have added Catalan to their textile labels. Currently, 63% of major fashion brands identified by the government are compliant with local consumer regulations regarding language use.
Tech giants are also joining the shift; Apple has integrated Catalan into iCloud and Apple TV, while Samsung has released manuals in the language. Financial services like Revolut have pledged to launch Catalan versions of their platforms by 2027.
