Part of the ceiling on the top floor of the former Fecsa building, located near Barcelona's Tres Xemeneies, collapsed this Sunday, May 24th, without causing personal injuries.

The Barcelona Firefighters reported that debris was found in the area, but the collapse did not affect the main structure of the Tres Xemeneies or nearby buildings. The emergency services confirmed that no injuries or other impacts in the vicinity were registered.
After conducting the necessary checks to ensure safety, firefighters concluded their intervention and left the scene. The Mossos d'Esquadra also provided assistance in the area.
This incident occurs as the Tres Xemeneies area is set for a transformation into elite offices planned for 2027, according to previous reports.
