Of these new infections, 2 have been detected in Barcelona, 1 in Molins de Rei, and 1 in Esplugues, all locations within the high-risk zone established for monitoring the disease.
According to the weekly report from the Department of Agriculture, a total of 11,029 specimens have been analyzed since the outbreak was first detected.
In the last 7 days, 306 wild boars have been captured within the infected zone, which includes both the high-risk and low-risk areas. Total captures in this zone now amount to 10,650 specimens.
The operational team working to control the disease comprised 884 personnel in the last week, with 353 belonging to the specialized intervention group.
