In an interview with Ser Catalunya, the Comuns spokesperson advocated for a broad coalition of parties to the left of the PSOE. Pisarello described this strategy as a municipalist spring, aimed at uniting forces ahead of the 2027 elections.
“"The space to the left of the Socialist Party must understand each other. We must show people the danger faced by the people we represent."
Furthermore, the deputy suggested that Ada Colau would be the ideal figure to lead this popular unity project. According to Pisarello, the former mayor remains a key asset for fostering cooperation among various left-wing factions in Barcelona.
The candidate also directed criticism at Mayor Jaume Collboni regarding the Mobile World Congress. Pisarello argued that the mayor lacked courage by not taking a firmer stand against Israeli companies participating in the event.
