The Tagliatella restaurant chain has closed one of its most prominent locations on Diagonal Avenue in Barcelona, following the acquisition of the building by Banca March for €40 million to establish its new business center.

The Tagliatella restaurant that closed was located on the ground floor of the former Zurich building, at 431 bis Diagonal Avenue. The closure occurred without official reasons being made public, although internal sources told Metrópoli that they “do not have information regarding the reasons for the closure”.
The property was acquired by Banca March in mid-December for approximately 40 million euros, a profitable deal for the real estate group Alting, which had purchased it for 25 million a year earlier. The building, spanning nearly 6,200 square meters, will serve as Banca March's new business center.

"The acquisition of such a unique building in the heart of the city not only demonstrates our firm commitment to Catalonia but also reflects our business philosophy, based on specialization and excellence in service."

José Luis Acea · CEO of Banca March
This operation reinforces Banca March's commitment to Catalonia. The building, which has 11 floors above ground, is situated in the most exclusive commercial stretch of the Diagonal, between Passeig de Gràcia and Plaça Francesc Macià.
