The Rodalies rail network in Catalonia resumed operations this Monday, February 16th, with significant speed restrictions affecting nearly 200 points across the system.

The Spanish Government and the Generalitat anticipate that full service without speed limitations will be restored by April. Currently, Adif is conducting essential maintenance and safety certifications. Several lines, including the R3 and R8, are relying on alternative bus services to transport passengers through affected sectors.

Specific disruptions include the R7 line, which will remain out of service until May. In the Lleida region, the RL4 line between Cervera and Calaf has been closed again due to safety concerns, despite a brief reopening over the weekend. Renfe continues to provide shuttle buses in these areas.
