Commuters using the Rodalies train network in Catalonia are facing a persistent crisis this March, with constant delays and service cuts severely impacting their work-life balance and mental health.

The rail situation has deteriorated following an accident in Gelida two months ago and ongoing engineering works in the Garraf area. Data from Puntual.cat reveals that February was the worst month in a year, with the R13 line averaging 48.8 minutes of delay per journey.

The R2 Sud line also saw its average delay double to 39.9 minutes. Mayors from towns like Valls and Montblanc have criticized the service, describing it as the worst in the country, while many passengers are now considering switching to private cars.
