The Rodalies network in Barcelona and Catalonia remains severely disrupted one month after the Gelida accident, with multiple lines closed and significant speed restrictions in place.

Despite government promises, Adif crews are still working on 71 critical points across the network. The R3 line remains closed between l'Hospitalet de Llobregat and la Garriga, while the R15 is suspended between Reus and Riba-roja d'Ebre due to safety concerns.

"Practically half of the slow zones linked to emergency works will be lifted before the end of April."

Commuters in Barcelona also faced a Semaf union strike at FGC this week. Looking ahead, the R2 line faces three months of single-track operation through the Garraf tunnels due to essential maintenance.
