Following a Monday marked by chaos and confusion on the rail network, which culminated in the dismissal of the operational director of Rodalies and the maintenance director of Adif, the operator has presented the service plan for Tuesday. The service remains free for one month starting Monday to compensate affected users.
The R1 line offers train service between L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Mataró, but requires alternative road service between Mataró and Maçanet-Massanes. The R4 line, vital for Vallès and Penedès, also has sections with alternative service, especially between Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Martorell Central, and from Terrassa estació del Nord to Manresa.
Most Rodalies lines show some disruption or section with alternative road service, especially in areas further away from Barcelona.
The R3 line continues without rail service between la Garriga and Puigcerdà, with buses covering the route. Regarding regional services, the R11 has alternative service between Caldes de Malavella and Portbou. Lines R13, R14, and R15 also feature sections with alternative transport to ensure connection with Lleida and the Terres de l'Ebre.
Lines R2, R2 Sud, and R2 Nord maintain full rail service. It should be noted that the R7 line, which connects to the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, will remain without rail service until May 2026, with alternative road service already established.
