A cookie paying homage to the Sagrada Familia and the city of Barcelona has been recognized as Catalonia's best tea pastry of 2026 by Dulcypas magazine.

The confection, crafted by Hofmann pastry shop, features a design resembling a seal, crowned by the image of the Sagrada Familia and the start date of its construction, 1882. This item, named Origen, is sold in boxes of six for a price of €18.
The cookie is distinguished by its toasted aroma and the combination of ingredients such as hazelnut, coffee, and buckwheat. Its base is a traditional shortbread, complemented by hazelnut and coffee praline, hazelnut gianduja, sobacha (buckwheat infusion) caramel, and dark chocolate, offering a rich experience of textures and flavors.
This award adds to the distinction received in 2025 for the best bonbon in Spain, solidifying Hofmann's reputation as a benchmark in artisanal author pastry. The cookies can be purchased at Hofmann's stores, located at Flassaders, 44 and Avinguda de Pau Casals, 5.
Additionally, the pastry shop has unveiled a special creation for Sant Jordi 2026: an individual rose-shaped cake. This sweet combines a chocolate sponge cake with a crispy vanilla cookie, filled with lychee and rose compote, and enveloped by a soft dark chocolate and raspberry mousse, with raspberry petals as the finishing touch. Each cake costs €13.
