The outdoor cinema cycle Sala Montjuïc, located in the Santa Eulàlia moat in Barcelona, has decided to include Catalan subtitles in three of the films scheduled for this edition.

The decision follows complaints expressed on social media regarding the absence of the Catalan language in the initial lineup. The titles that will feature this option are O Agente Secreto, Sirat, and Sentimental Value.
According to the organization, the selection of these films is based on the technical availability of subtitles in the digital cinema package (DCP) format. The entity has expressed its commitment to promoting the presence of Catalan in cultural offerings and pledged to continue working to increase it in future editions, subject to the materials provided by distributors.
With this change, Catalan will be present in three of the sixteen screenings scheduled for this summer. The cycle is an initiative of the Associació Cultural MODIband, created in 2003, and is supported by the Department of Culture of the Generalitat, the Barcelona City Council, and the Grec festival.
