The project, which was recognized in the Intelligent Manufacturing and Digital Transformation category for Higher Vocational Training, uses a network of sensors and meteorological data to manage crops. This technology allows farmers to optimize water consumption and monitor the status of plantations in real time.
The FPemprèn awards aim to highlight the most outstanding business proposals created by Vocational Training students in Barcelona and its metropolitan area. These awards seek to showcase the students' ability to provide innovative solutions to current challenges in sectors such as sustainability, health, and digitalization.
This is not the first time the educational center has received recognition in this competition. In 2020, the Institut Provençana was also awarded for the Antqueen project, developed within the Higher Vocational Training cycle in Administration and Finance.
