Sophie Kai restaurant, located near Barcelona's Arc de Triomf, has revamped its gastronomic proposal to offer Asian fusion cuisine, with a strong Japanese accent, without forgetting its Mediterranean roots.

The former Sophie restaurant has evolved into Sophie Kai, marking a significant change in its culinary offering. While it previously stood out for Mediterranean dishes with a well-traveled touch, it now focuses on Asian gastronomy, especially Japanese, always maintaining a connection with Mediterranean flavors.
This establishment, part of the Banco de Boquerones group (owner of venues such as Casa Ràfols and Casa Leopoldo), retains its chic and cozy aesthetic. The decor, with subtle oriental touches like paintings and murals, maintains the Parisian bistro atmosphere that characterized it, now complemented by a renewed menu.
Among Sophie Kai's standout proposals are the kimchi croquettes with saffron mayonnaise, the hamachi ceviche with banana and caviar, or the uramaki of flamed salmon and tempura prawn. For lovers of more traditional Japanese food, the Sushi experience is offered, a selection of 20 units of sashimi, nigiri, uramaki, and tataki.
The drinks menu includes a varied selection of Spanish wines, sake, and signature cocktails with Asian influences, such as the Tokio Sour with yuzu and wasabi, or the Green Dragon with shiso and matcha. The average price per person, without wine, is around €45.
