A man was stabbed on Friday night near Casino Barcelona, on Marina Street, with one person arrested in connection with the incident.

The incident occurred around 10:30 PM. The victim, who suffered injuries to the gluteus, was attended by the Servei d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) and subsequently transferred to Hospital del Mar. According to municipal sources, several individuals were involved in the assault, which may have been carried out by a group of seven or eight people.
One of the alleged attackers was arrested by the Guàrdia Urbana, who handed him over to the Mossos d'Esquadra, now in charge of the investigation. The Catalan police are keeping the case open, and further arrests are not ruled out. Although initial reports suggested the victim was a security guard in the Port Olímpic area, the Mossos have not confirmed this information.
This event adds to a series of recent violent incidents in the city. A week ago, a minor was arrested for stabbing a man in the Raval neighborhood. Additionally, a group assault in the Fòrum area also left a person injured with a bladed weapon. These events have raised concerns about security in Barcelona.
