The Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation has successfully concluded the second Talent Arena in Barcelona, attracting 25,000 attendees and positioning the event as a vital component of the MWC ecosystem.

Held at the Montjuïc venue, the event saw a significant increase in visitors compared to its debut. Supported by MWCapital and GSMA, the fair provides a platform for the programming community, which is essential to the 22@ district's tech scene. International participants made up 27% of the audience, highlighting the city's global appeal.

"Talent Arena reinforces Barcelona's positioning as an international capital for technological talent."

A key highlight was the keynote by Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, who spoke about the dangers of addictive social media platforms. The event also featured workshops on artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and ethics, alongside hackathons with over 4,000 participants.
Organizers have already announced a third edition at Montjuïc, with plans to move to the Gran Via venue by 2028. This expansion follows the trajectory of 4YFN, which continues to be a crucial meeting point for startups and investors, despite ongoing discussions regarding its integration and costs for local entrepreneurs.
