Around a hundred teachers blocked the Ronda Litoral and Meridiana in Barcelona this February 11 to demand better wages during a strike involving clashes with police.

Protesters managed to break through the Mossos d'Esquadra police line near the Campus Universitari Mar early in the morning. After climbing a wall to reach the highway, they blocked traffic on the B-10 in both directions for nearly an hour before moving towards Paral·lel avenue.

"Ronda Litoral closed to traffic in both directions at Barceloneta due to a demonstration."

Another major disruption occurred on Meridiana Avenue. Teachers blocked traffic near the Fabra i Puig station and marched towards Sagrera, causing heavy congestion at one of the city's main entrances. Protests were also reported on Gran Via.
Public transport was heavily impacted by the actions. The operator Moventis reported significant delays on several intercity bus lines, including the e1, e2.1, and A1 routes, as the teaching sector demands a reversal of long-standing budget cuts.
