The second stage of the 2026 Tour de France will connect the cities of Tarragona and Barcelona this Sunday, July 5th, ending the route near the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.

Following the initial time trial, the cycling peloton will travel to Tarragona to begin the second day of the race. The start is scheduled for 1:45 PM, with the first riders expected to reach the Catalan capital around 4:50 PM.
The route entering Barcelona will pass through l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, continuing along Cardenal Reig Street and Arístides Maillol Street. Afterward, the cyclists will connect to Sants Street towards Plaça d'Espanya, finishing the route with a circuit through Montjuïc mountain until reaching the Olympic promenade.
