Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) will incorporate 136 new buses before the end of 2027, of which 105 will be electric, aiming to reach one-third of the total non-polluting fleet.

With an investment exceeding 77 million euros, TMB aims to significantly increase its zero-emission vehicles, reaching a total of 372 electric buses.
TMB President, Laia Bonet, has emphasized the entity's strong commitment to the electrification of public transport. In this regard, she announced that 56 new electric buses were put out for tender this Tuesday.
These 56 vehicles will be allocated as 26 units for renewing the current fleet and 30 more for expanding the total number of buses.
