TMB enhances metro service for Gràcia Festivals

The service will run for 67 uninterrupted hours from August 21st to 23rd to facilitate mobility during the celebration.

Transportes Metropolitanos de Barcelona (TMB) has enhanced its metro service for the 2026 Festa Major de Gràcia, offering 67 hours of continuous operation from August 21st to 23rd.

To mark the 2026 Festa Major de Gràcia, taking place from August 15th to 21st, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) recommends using public transport for travel to the event locations.
The nearest metro stations to the festival activity points are Lesseps, Fontana, Diagonal (L3), Joanic (L4), and Verdaguer (L5). Line 3 will receive special reinforcement with 10% more trains during certain hours.
Throughout the nights of August 21st to 23rd, the metro will operate continuously for 67 hours, from 5 AM on Friday until midnight on Sunday, to facilitate movement for attendees.
TMB also reports increased staffing for customer service, security, and cleaning at the busiest stations. Travelers are advised to plan their journeys in advance due to scheduled improvement works on the metro network.
Additionally, regular bus lines D40, D50, H6, H8, H10, V15, V17, V19, 6, 7, 19, 22, 24, 27, 33, 34, 39, 47, 114, and 116 also serve the Gràcia neighborhood.
