The Barber League, Spain's first and only professional barber competition, celebrated its third edition this year. This event, powered by the SoyBarbudo platform, brings together emerging talents and established professionals to test their technique and creativity in the barbering world.
The final stage of the Booksy Barber League took place on Saturday, June 6th, at the Zaragoza Business Centre (WTC). Awards were presented across various categories, including elite professionals, rising stars, and young talents, alongside the new 'Booksy Fast Fade' challenge, a speed test for executing a fade haircut in just 15 minutes.
Javier Torrente, a barber with over three decades of experience and owner of Javi Torrente Barbers, was the sole participant to win awards in two different categories: Best Shave and Best Classic Cut. Torrente, specializing in scissor cuts and trendy styles, is a recognized figure in the industry, having also been crowned Spanish Champion in 2024.
In addition to Torrente's accolades, another participant, Izan Torrente, was also named Best Barber of Spain, according to published reports.
