The Veolia Water Museum will host a special program from March 20 to 22 to celebrate World Water Day, featuring an exclusive exhibition by photographer Francesc Català-Roca.

Aligned with the United Nations theme Where water flows, equality grows, the event will gather institutional representatives including Minister Sílvia Paneque and local mayors. The discussions will focus on sustainable water management and its social impact on the territory.
The exhibition Pels camins de l'aigua showcases Català-Roca's ethnographic gaze on Spanish society before modern water networks. It highlights how domestic water supply transformed daily life, particularly for women, by reducing the labor required for vital tasks.
Having reached one million visitors, the museum remains a benchmark for environmental education. This year's celebration also highlights the Gaudí Cascade and the Amargós i Samaranch building as key pieces of Catalonia's industrial and architectural heritage.
