This decision responds to the increased demand observed between both cities, particularly for professional travelers, and aims to compete with rail transport by offering same-day round trips.
Initially, during October, Vueling will offer 10 weekly flights: two daily from Monday to Thursday (one in the morning and one in the afternoon), and an additional flight on Fridays and Sundays. From October 31st, the offering will increase to 11 frequencies, also incorporating Saturdays, and maintaining two daily flights from Monday to Thursday and one daily from Friday to Sunday.
The schedules for the first flights in October will depart from Barcelona between 07:20 and 07:30 AM (morning) and at 6:35 PM (afternoon). From Madrid, morning flights will take off between 09:25 and 09:40 AM, and afternoon flights between 8:35 PM and 8:45 PM.
The company had previously operated this route temporarily at the beginning of the year to cover limitations in rail transport, an operation that was extended until March due to high passenger numbers.
