The department seeks to expand this Christmas activity and make it more participatory, inviting all entities, associations, and professionals in the municipality to theme their own 'tió' (Christmas log). The decoration should reflect their activity or history, and they can be given a name.
Participants will be responsible for providing and decorating their 'tió', as well as its maintenance during the activity period. The Town Hall, for its part, will be responsible for promoting the event.
In its last edition, the route allowed the discovery of 36 themed 'tions', inspired by emblematic figures of the municipality, displayed in various streets of the town.
The 'Ruta dels Tions' will begin on December 4th and run until December 27th. The deadline for registration is October 9th.
To participate, an email must be sent to turisme@torredembarra.cat with the name of the entity, association, or professional, the name of the 'tió', and a description of the 'tió' to be themed. The decorated 'tions' must be brought to the Casona (Tourist Office, Pg. Rafael Campalans, 10) by November 20th, from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 2 PM.
