The emblematic music bar Alfa Bar, which permanently closed in 2021, will hold a farewell party titled 'La nit que faltava' on January 3rd at the Paral·lel 62 venue in Barcelona.

After five years of silence, the spirit of Alfa Bar will be revived thanks to the insistence of former customers and the drive of Adrià Ramírez, a relative of the owners and an employee for over fifteen years. The phrase “I wish it would come back,” which he constantly heard, motivated the organization of this final session in collaboration with the organizers of Paral·lel 62.
Alfa Bar, located at Gran de Gràcia, 36, opened its doors in 1991. It quickly became a neighborhood landmark known for its non-commercial music and unique style. The space was singular, as it occupied a former Alfa sewing machine workshop, from which it took its name, maintaining a unique decoration. Artists like Rosalía, Obeses, and La iaia performed there.

"That is why we want to have one last night, to say goodbye, because we never officially closed the bar."

The definitive closure came in 2021, after the pandemic forced them to shut down in 2020 without anyone knowing it would be the last time. Now, under the slogan 'La nit que faltava' (The missing night), the goal is to recreate the atmosphere of the original nights, with the same DJs spinning sessions of rock, soul, funk, disco, and R&B. Tickets are already available for the January 3rd event.
