The President of the Generalitat, Salvador Illa, inaugurated the 'Catalonia and Mexico: Connecting Opportunities' event at the Palau de Pedralbes, advocating for the bonds between the two territories.

The head of the Executive emphasized the relationship between Catalonia and Mexico, stating that "there is not only a mutual economic interest, but also an affective basis of fraternity." This connection, according to Illa, is rooted in the republican exile and represents "the best substrate for us to continue building and strengthening bridges."
Addressing Catalan and Mexican business leaders, Illa highlighted Catalonia's assets as a hub for innovation, research, and talent attraction.
